The TexStar Budget Star Account is designed for customers who keep a low minimum balance but want all the services of a basic checking account.

Open your Budget Star Account with $100. You will receive free online banking and bill pay, unlimited check writing privileges and automatic overdraft protection when your checking account needs funds. With overdraft protection we will automatically transfer money from your TexStar Savings account into your TexStar Checking for only $5.00 a day so that you can be assured that your checks and other debits are always covered. The Budget Star Account monthly fee is only $2.00.

We have designed a checking account especially for our customers who are 55 years and over. Keep a minimum balance of just $100 and you will avoid the low $4.00 monthly fee. The TexStar Gold Star Checking account, will give you all of the services of a complete checking account, plus the ability to use online banking services.
