We take your security seriously
If you used your TexStar debit card to make an in-store purchase in a Target store from November 27 to December 15, 2013, it is likely your card information was compromised. The data breach did not affect online purchases.
TexStar will reissue you a new debit card at no cost to you
As a courtesy we attempted to contact you by phone if you used your debit card at a Target store between those dates. As a precaution, we recommend that you come into any of our locations and order a new debit card even if you have not seen any fraudulent activity on your account.
We constantly monitor for fraudulent activity
We know it is upsetting to learn that your debit card may have been compromised in the merchant breach at Target Stores. You can trust us to remain vigilant through multiple layers of security precautions in protecting your account.
Please check your account each day and report any unusual activity to us immediately at 210-659-4000. We will help you with any concern or question you may have.
Also, it is common during significant events such as this for additional scams to emerge that take advantage of the hype generated by media to prey on individuals. Do not respond to phone calls or emails from any source telling you that your account has been compromised other than a trusted TexStar National Bank representative.
